Service Engineer, Melbourne Victoria – Analytical Instrumentation 

About the role

Reporting to the Operations Manager as part of a face-paced team, the service engineer will be responsible for

  • Experience with analytical instrumentation, knowledge of Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometers (IRMS) and combustion analyzers seen as an advantage.
  • Ability to produce clear and concise maintenance documentation.
  • Ideally located in Melbourne Victoria
  • Travel around Victoria approximately 75% of role
  • Interstate travel to NSW, SA, WA, TAS, QLD may be required
  • Occasional travel overseas for training at our headquarters (Frankfurt, Germany & Manchester, UK)
  • Ability to work from home office to provide remote technical support
To be successful you will need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry or similar scientific field is required, graduate degrees preferred.
  • Experienced working with a CRM system and the MS Office Applications
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Organisational and time management skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Effectively communicate with customers and support staff in person, via phone or email.
  • Self-motivation with the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual handling
  • Valid driver’s license and passport
